It’s home to one of the trail’s most famous landmarks (the Kilmacthomas Viaduct) and the much-loved Coach House Coffee. From here, you can head east toward woodland and river paths, or west toward tunnels, sea breezes, and mountain views. Wherever you go, it’s the perfect day out for the whole family: scenic, peaceful, and full of charm.

The most popular route for visitors starting here, with plenty of countryside charm and coastal magic. Ride past farmland under open sky, through the Durrow Tunnel, and down to the sea breeze in Dungarvan. Stop at the Railway Cottage Café or take a quick detour to Clonea Beach before looping back.
