We get asked about the bus every single day – and for good reason. There’s no private shuttle anymore, but the public Bus Éireann routes connect all three of our depots in Waterford, Kilmacthomas, and Dungarvan. With a bit of planning, you can leave the car at one end, catch a bus to the other, and enjoy the whole Greenway without worrying about the clock.
A return journey that sounds easy on paper can take longer with wind, breaks, or café stops. If you think you’ll need 2 hours, plan for 2½. You’ll enjoy it more when you’re not clock-watching.

Electric bikes make it even easier: you’ll still get the fresh air and views, just with a little boost when you need it.
Aim to be at the stop at least 10 minutes before departure. Buses can fill quickly in summer, and while drivers are usually helpful, it’s best not to risk missing your slot – especially if you’ve left your car at another depot.

We’re open 9 am – 6 pm every day. Please make sure bikes are back by 6 pm sharp so we can service and prepare them for the next day.
